During the development of a new system in the field of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) several projects for a German OEM got into crisis situations. The outgoing task force leader was replaced by a less experienced project manager. This project manager had to be continuously accompanied in his challenging task and to step in where necessary. At the same time it was important to ensure that all projects were successfully introduced into series production. In addition to the tasks of the operative coaching of the involved employees (project manager, 1st management level of the team and individual managers) it was the task to represent the project manager and also individual managers in regular escalation meetings at the customer. These escalations were carried out up to board level. All projects were successfully introduced into the series. The project manager was promoted to senior project manager during the project.
