A successful company in the development, production and distribution of emission-reducing filters for the automotive aftermarket has taken a big step towards becoming a system provider by developing a highly complex LPG system consisting of “wet” and “dry” components. Thomas Schmidt has successfully supported this project in several places at the same time. In addition to the procurement of various components, the project, which had been faltering for a long time, had to be analysed, replanned and initially managed as interim manager. At the same time he structured and trained the team in project management methods and acted as a coach for the future project manager. He took over the project after 6 months and launched the product in September 2010.
